regarding the best muffler sound...i have been experimenting with various muffler mods to try and get a very low "puff puff" rather than the (in my opinion)irritating "pop pop" sound.

below are the 2 extreme ends...in between were many experiments that i wont bore anyone with but all experiments rendered a better sound than stock in my opinion.
1) stock muffler not bad but too high pitched and too quiet...hole drilling didn't do it for me.
2) straight pipe almost perfect (nice low "puff puff") but a little too loud...(canister mufflers with and without home made baffles gave me too much "pop pop")

i also found that the more pipe length, the more undesirable "pop pop" i would get...in other words (so far) just one 6 inch extension with no muffler, gives the deepest "puff puff" sound yet...but i'm not satisfied yet, cause that is just a little too loud.

question #1: does that Jardine slip on do "puff puff" or "pop pop"?...i assume the sound is as low as straight pipe....but i'll bet ya hear the same "pop pop" as other mufflers and not the "puff puff" of a straight pipe...is this correct or is that Jardine really a magical muffler when the baffles stay in place?
question #2: has anyone else experimented trying to achieve a very low "puff puff" sound?
question #3: does anyone know of a online workshop that deals specifically with exhaust sound ?...(i searched but came up empty)

thanks in advance for replies..:)
